When and how to transplant?

It is recommended to replant a young plant every year in July. Already adult wisteria once in 3 years. At home, a clay pot will need 3-4 cm more than the previous one along the circumference. It is better if you wash it thoroughly or scald it with boiling water.

The day before transplanting water the plant. The earth mixture can be bought, taking into account the needs of wisteria. The holes at the bottom to close broken off from the brick pieces. Above need clay and sand, then cover with earth by about 2 cm.

Then turn the old container with the plant and carefully pull it out, preferably without touching the root system. Separate it from excess soil, put on a layer of soil in a new pot. Fill the space between the walls and the plant with slightly damp earth, distributing it with a stick. Wisteria should sit in the middle at the same depth as in the same pot. At the end of the transplant, pour a little more than usual and place in a slightly darkened place. After some time, look at the state, put the tree in its original place and create the usual conditions that were before the transplant.

If the plant grows in a garden repot only when absolutely necessary. It is better not to replant a completely mature one.
