"Solikoks": instructions for use for chickens

Composition, release form, packaging

1 ml of "Solicox" contains 2.5 mg of diclazuril, the rest is forming and auxiliary substances. The release form of the drug is a clear solution for oral administration. "Solikoks" is bottled in plastic bottles of 10 and 1000 ml, after which it is packed in cardboard packaging.

Biological properties

"Solikoks" acts on all types of coccidia (intracellular parasites), which provoke the disease coccidiosis. The drug is non-toxic, which allows it to be used for a longer period of time than other drugs in veterinary medicine.

In coccidiosis, broilers turn blue skin, and in chickens the goiter increases and bowel appearances appear. Timely use of Solicox will help in the fight against these parasites, otherwise the chickens have a high risk of rapid death, which occurs within 4-5 days.

How old can you use

This drug is non-toxic, therefore, in order to prevent coccidiosis, Solicox is used just a few days after the appearance of the chickens.

Important! "Solikoks" is effective only under favorable conditions, for which it is necessary that the holding place, feeding troughs and drinkers be kept clean.

Administration and dosage for broiler chickens

In order for treatment and prevention to be effective, the correct dosage of medication must be observed. For broilers, 2 ml of Solicox are mixed with 1 l of water and given to chickens for 5 days using a dispenser. Two weeks after the course of treatment, the sick broiler should be given a one-time solution.

As you know, the disease is easier to prevent than to cure, so Solikox should be used for the purposes of prevention:

  • The first application must be done before the chicks reach two weeks of age;
  • a month later, the drug is used again;
  • when the chicks reach adulthood, the gap between the techniques of "Solikox" increases to 1 time in 2 months.

Compatibility with other drugs
