Colombian scientists have created a 3D printer that prints food

Scientists at Columbia University invented the first printer that can print different dishes, while at the same time preparing them with laser beams. According to the creators, chocolate dishes, various desserts and meat dishes of various forms are becoming increasingly popular.

The main investigator of this project, Jonathan Blutinger, calls the food made on a 3D printer “digital” and claims that the future lies with it. Also, he noted that in the process of updating the invention, the printer can not only create food of various forms and prepare it, but also create individual, customized dishes for the dish that the printer will print when the owner wants to eat.

It is possible that in the near future, the printer will become a "food fax" and will be equipped with artificial intelligence, which will send the host's favorite food to his friends.
