Students of Sumy Agrarian University, food industry department, produced the first cups of coffee grounds that do not pose a danger to the environment. Behind their words, this is not their first experience in creating eco-ware. Earlier, young people created food plastic from protein, which disintegrates in the ground in 10-20 days.
According to project manager Dmitry Bidyuk, coffee grounds are a real treasure both for the human body and for the soil, which often remains underestimated by us. Behind his words, soon they will create a technology that will help the ordinary people to create cups of coffee at home.
Raw materials for dishes scientists provide coffee shops, which, after processing and buy cups. As Dmitry says, the cost of such a cup is about 60 kopecks and after use, it can be recycled an infinite number of times.
