The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation plans to increase the duration of the working day for women who work in the village. This proposal was submitted for consideration by the Russian Tripartite Commission (RTC) in the first half of this year, the press service of the federal agency said.
The 36-hour working week is valid for women who work in the village. The norm about her is spelled out in the decree "On urgent measures to improve the status of women, the family, and maternity protection in the countryside."

Earlier it was reported that female workers who work in the village, can increase the duration of the working day. While they are busy working 36 hours a week, not 40, like all other people, but their wages are not reduced. According to the newspaper Izvestia, the change in working hours is capable of covering approximately 12.9 million of the female population of Russia.
Trade union organizations do not support innovation, explaining their position by the fact that the weaker sex in the village is already overloaded with economic work. The deputy chairman of the trade union of workers in the agro-industrial complex, Galina Yurova, said that the removal of benefits would be appropriate only if the quality of life of the rural population becomes much higher.
