When propagated by seeds, the vegetative period of gazania is very long, about one hundred days. Therefore, gardeners begin to grow seedlings since mid-March. Seeds are planted to a depth of 1 centimeter.
At an appropriate temperature (22-24 degrees) shoots will delight you in a week. After the emergence of seedlings, but before the appearance of the first true leaf, seedlings need to be transplanted into separate containers.
As soon as warm weather sets in, the plant is planted in a permanent place.
One dressing per month is enough; the solution is made at the rate of 40-50 g per 10 liters of water.
Reproduction gazanii cuttings
This can be done when summer reaches its middle. From the strongest shoots, cuttings of about 10 cm in length are cut. before planting the cuttings in the ground, they are first kept in the growth regulator solution: 0.1% naphthylacetic acid (NAA) or 0.5% solution of indolylbutyric acid (IMC) is used.
At first, the cuttings should be protected from drafts and from direct sunlight. After rooting, cuttings before planting in a flower garden are kept at a temperature of 15-18 degrees above zero, in a room with good lighting.
The plant is unpretentious, does not require any special care. Enough moderate watering every few days.

Like any plant, gatsaniya prone to disease. This is mostly gray rot. If the plant is sick, then treatment with fungicide is carried out.
And as a preventive measure against gray rot, the following things must be done: do not plant gazanyu on areas prone to waterlogging and do not flood it with watering.
