More than 2 billion rubles will be directed to the modernization of a large pig complex in the Vladimir region

Documents on the modernization, financing conditions of the Vladimirskoye enterprise have already been signed by the general director of the pig farm, Andrey Parakhnevich and the governor of the Vladimir region, Vladimir Sypyagin.

According to Konstantin Demidov, director of the department of agriculture of the region's administration, the reconstruction of the enterprise will be able to increase pork production and also cover the consequences of ASF outbreaks that occurred in most regions of Russia, especially in Vladimir and Primorsk regions.

Recall that during January-February 2019, in Russia, there were about 15 foci of infection of the African plague. Now the situation, according to the Rosselkhoznador, is not so acute and the active outbreaks of ASF are recorded only in the Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions.

Following the modernization protocol, it is planned that by the end of 2020, pork production at the enterprise will increase in live weight to 22 thousand tons. Work on the pig complex will begin in the second quarter of 2019. Workers plan to increase to 275 people. Also, as reported, the governorate of the region will assist the Vladimirinskoe pig farm in addressing issues related to energy resources, infrastructure around the enterprise and the construction of a highway, for normal travel to the pig farm.
