US ready to negotiate the supply of Ukrainian organic wheat

The United States is ready to negotiate the supply of organic wheat from Ukraine, according to the Minister of Ukraine for Agrarian Policy and Food. During a television interview, the minister noted that the US food is strictly regulated and it is difficult to enter the market with new products, but the US is ready to negotiate organic wheat. The Minister noted that it takes time to convert the land into organic, which is not a problem in Ukraine, since the land is not polluted.

In accordance with previous announcements, the minister continued to emphasize that, although Ukraine currently produces and exports a small amount of organic products compared to the organic world market, the future of Ukraine’s organic market is very promising. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, Ukraine currently grows products on about 400,000 hectares of organic land and 80% of organic products are exported.
