In the list of walnut exporters in Europe, Ukraine is now in a leading position and ranked 5th in the list of the top 5 manufacturers of this product in the world. But still there are some issues of the subsequent formation of the branch and export. These issues were discussed during the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European integration, Olga Trofimtseva, with representatives of the NGO “Ukrainian Nut Association”. "The development of niche production, which small and medium-sized producers are interested in, such as the fruits of nuts, is considered one of the most important for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy now. For the development of industrial production and exports, cooperatives or clusters have to be made. But now the production of nuts is fragmented by structure. both effective access to external markets, and the organized work of this branch in the domestic market. Now the manufacturing society has the opportunity to solve almost all of these data in, "- the deputy minister highlighted.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Nut Association spoke about the main ways that will affect the development of the nut business in Ukraine and the export itself. In particular, this is the development of modern processing technologies, the production of high-quality procurement systems, the storage and sale of products, etc.
