These figures were very unexpected, because in 2017 the import of nuts amounted to 20.6 million dollars. If we consider their imports, taking into account the performance of the past two years, it has increased by one and a half times, that is, by 9.6 million dollars.

Vietnamese cashew imports increased by 71% to $ 5.5 million. Supplies of hazelnuts increased by 10% to $ 5.2 million. The main supplies of this nut to Ukraine are made by two countries: Georgia and Turkey. Also, not so significantly, but imports of pistachio increased (the cost of importing this nut last year amounted to about 1 million dollars), pecan and Brazil nuts. According to experts, the import of nuts brings great benefits to the country, and the delivery rates will continue to grow.
