In the UK, bred chickens, whose eggs help to fight cancer

This was reported by scientists at the University of Edinburgh, who created the genome that can fight arthritis and certain types of cancer. Chicken eggs, which already had the IFNalpha2a genome, possessing powerful antiviral and anti-cancer properties, have undergone gene modification.

The development of diseases in the body is often associated with a lack of some element, for example, a certain protein. Such diseases can be controlled with the help of drugs with a high content of one or another element. Drugs with these proteins are also produced in industrial conditions, but getting them from chicken eggs is about 100 times cheaper, scientists say. The medicine will go on sale quite soon. For the claims of scientists, the patent will take about 10 years.
