In 2016–17, the price of feed wheat increased by 12.2% compared with the previous year, the price of feed barley increased by 4.5%, and feed corn increased by 6.7%. This was stated in the land company "Phoenix Agro". According to Valery Pekin, analyst of Phoenix Agro, the rise in feed tariffs started in 2014: because the cost of feed is pegged to the dollar, and devaluation processes have affected the cost.

High rates of world wheat production in 2016 caused the development of the situation, which also led to a decline in prices on world markets to the minimum level in the last 10-15 years, increased competition in foreign markets, as well as a significant reduction in the demand of importers.

The Cabinet of Ministers supported the order approving the procedure for maintaining the register of recipients of budget subsidies in the form provided. This was stated by the Minister of Finance Alexander Danilyuk at an extraordinary meeting of the government. "Since 2017, a budget subsidy has been introduced for the development of agricultural producers, and at the moment it is proposed to adopt an order of the Cabinet of Ministers approving the procedure for maintaining the register of recipients of budget subsidies in the form provided.

According to the State Statistics Service, in 2016, Ukraine exported agricultural products worth $ 15.2 billion, which is $ 4 billion more compared to 2015, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on February 16. According to official statistics, in September-January of the current seasonal year, Ukraine exported 60 thousand tons of high-quality sunflower oil, which is 4.2 times more compared to the same period in the 2015-2016 seasonal year, and 2.6 times more than compared with the first five months of the 2014-2015 season (14.2 thousand tons and 23.1 thousand tons, respectively).

According to the portal rabota.ua, in the Ukrainian agrosphere today there is an active surge in the emergence of new vacancies. Thus, the increase compared with January last year was 150%. In addition, in July-January 2016-2017, the export of organic barley from Ukraine amounted to about 2 thousand tons, which is 2.5 and 3.1 times more compared to the first seven months of 2015-2016.

An agrarian receipt is a document of title fixing the debtor’s unconditional obligation, which is secured by a pledge, to supply agricultural products or pay money under certain conditions defined therein. During the period of implementation of the agrarian receipts project, 80 such documents were issued, which made it possible for agricultural producers to attract more than 467 million hryvnias.
